PS2 mode :
CDR/dvdr put game and play (autoboot). 

PSx mode :
insert psx game stay press 2 clic reset.
 
DVD mode :
insert dvd movie keep press SQUARE button + 2 clic reset now your playstation 2 is Macrovision free +  DVD all ZOne + RGB fix. 
stand-by mode :
3 clic on reset button or keep press more 3 seconds on the reset button (u can use that way too for boot DVD movie, but only Zone 2). 
navi mode : 
after installing Ripper 2 navi, push TRIANGLE  button (keep press TRIANGLE button until the Ps2 boot !!!) then reboot your Ps2.

CD/DVD controller requires only 3 wires to be soldered
to the bottom of the motherboard.

Flash Memory Integrated Circuit on board for update via CD.
Safe 3,3V power supply. 
Ground Bounce effect is almost not existent. 
It means very easy install without black screen.
